In today’s world, we’re constantly sucked in by the tags that say “new” or “just released”! But did you know it might be more beneficial to buy used parts? Here’s why!
- It saves money! $10-40 off here and there might not seem like a ton of money, but if you continually buy parts from trusty salvage yards (like us) then it really pays off long term!
- You’re helping the environment. Recycling old parts helps prevent heavy metals, toxic pollution and chemicals that can harm the environment.
- You’ll find tools for all purposes. Whether you’re changing the decorative look of your car or trying to revamp fuel efficiency, junk yards usually have everything you’re looking for in one place!
- You’ll receive great service. Especially here at UWrenchIt, our goal is to educate! It’s incredible how much you don’t know about your car until you open the hood. We’ll give you personalized service and make sure you leave with peace of mind.

I really need to replace several parts on my car. I have heard that I should get used auto parts to help me save money, but I have been really nervous about doing that. However, I really like the idea that using old parts can help the environment and so I think that I am a bit more inclined to recycle old parts now.
I like what this article mentions about buying used auto pats helping the environment. Although I don’t generally buy parts, when I do I like to go to used part dealers. I think it makes a difference considering the amount of parts that I recycle and buy on the weekly basis. I’ll have to remember to continue to do this. Thanks for the post!
I like how you mentioned that buying used car parts can help me save money! I’m going to be restoring an old car, and I want to save as much money as possible. I think that this will also help me save time, too, because I won’t have to order parts from different countries. I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for used parts that I can use to replace anything that is damaged or missing. Thank you for the information!
