Interior Cleaning Tips
Dust is a huge issue in cars because it settles in hard-to-reach places and stays there for months. When you’re trying to eliminate dust, clean all of your car’s vents and cracks with a small paintbrush. The thin bristles will reach places that a vacuum hose can’t.
Food or dirt can easily get stuck in the creases of your car seats. If you take a small, hard-bristled toothbrush and scrub the dirt, it will loosen from the cracks – making it easy to clean up.
Your floor mats may be the dirtiest part of your interior because whatever is on the bottom of your shoes ends up on the mats! Simply spray your mats with stain remover and throw them in the washing machine for a fresh look.
Exterior Cleaning Tips
Before washing your car, make sure you park it in a shady spot and let it cool down from the sun’s heat. If you wash your car while it’s still hot or in the sun, the heat from the sun will dry the soapy water onto your car faster than you can rinse it off.
When you’re finished washing your car, take a microfiber drying cloth to soak up the water. These cloths soak up water much better than your average bath towel and won’t leave water spots.
If you have bugs caked onto your bumper or windshield, spray WD-40 on the desired area and let it soak for roughly 30 seconds. Then, wipe the bugs and WD-40 away!
